Does the charging station LED turn steady green when the Cube is fully charged?

No. The charging state is only indicated in the Cube UI itself.

The STEADY green charging LED basically indicates that the Cube is not connected (removed from charger) or it has stopped charging due to a bad contact/low voltage. Even when the Cube is fully charged it continues to charge slowly with low current.

How do I turn my WOWCube off?

  • Go to the "Settings menu" app on your WOWCube and choose "Shutdown";
  • Or open the WOWCube Connect mobile app, go to Energy Saver and hit “Cube Shutdown”

To power it back on, place the cube on the charging dock and then remove.

Alternatively, you can:

  • insert the plastic tab (labeled with a black cat) in one of the sides of the cube;
  • place the Cube on a dock station not connected to a power source

Note that the “Sleep” title on the WOWCube will only put the cube in a stand-by state, from which it can be woken up by making a twist.

Also please note that after 48 hours being in sleep/standby the Cube will automatically turn OFF in order to save the battery.

I turned my cube off with a full battery but I noticed once I turned it back on that the battery level decreased.

To make sure your cube keeps the same battery level you need to insert the plastic cover that initially came with the cube (with a black cat) in any of the cube’s sides.

Once you remove the plastic protector, the cube will turn back on.

NOTE: Draining battery while being completely turned OFF (through the app or from the Settings menu app on the Cube itself) is not an ordinary situation, and might indicate some HW issue with your particular unit (or most likely with a particular module). If you see it discharged after being switched off - try noting down the charge level of all 8 modules from the Diagnostics mode inside the Settings app, in order to be able to identify the faulty module and contact our support team for further assistance.

How do I update the games? Most of the games say they need an update and to scan the QR code. When I scan the QR code it opens the app on the phone and that’s it

There was an issue in the mobile apps which is now fixed. However, you can always manually go to the corresponding game page in the mobile app and use the Update button from there.

I got some module errors, what do I do?

Follow the instructions in the mobile app, and check error-cases explained in our Troubleshooting_guide

I paid for a game and had to uninstall it, when I tried to reinstall, it is asking me to pay for it again?

Please activate the gift-card which you received with your Cube, to link the pre-paid games to your personal profile. You can activate your gift-card in your personal profile on our website wowcube.com (Add funds) or in the mobile app (Activate giftcard).

My Cube is not connecting to the app.

Make sure your cube is close to your phone/tablet. Turn your phone’s/tablet BT off, close the app, reset your cube with the charging dock, turn BT back on and open the app; the cube should connect now. If it doesn’t auto connect, hit the three dots to the right of the cube’s name and hit Connect. You may also try to change your location (to avoid a possible radio interference, from a microwave oven for instance) or delete and re-install the WOWCube Connect application, and do a complete phone reboot.

Sometimes deleting the Cube from the list of paired devices in the BT settings of your phone can help to clear the error.

Make sure no one else is connected to your WOWCube, as the cube does only support one connection at a time.

It's been also observed that the low battery of the phone can cause issues with the BT connection.

My Cube says 'Charger Error/Low Voltage'

Try re-inserting the Cube onto the charger (make sure it's properly placed to have a good contact). Try making a twist on each axis before placing on charger. Make sure your Cube is not too loose, i.e. tighten the Cube screws to make sure a good contact between the modules

If above did not help - make sure you are using the original cable and adapter that came with the cube and it is plugged directly into an outlet with no extra adapters.

Does removing a game from the cube remove saved data and high scores?

No. the saved progress and scores are not removed unless you do a factory reset

How many games can it hold at once?

By default - maximum 19 games (per available screens in the menu). BUT each game varies on size so it all depends on which games you have installed. For instance 'Crazy Farm' and 'Larry From SF' are one of the "heaviest" games so to install it you most likely will have to uninstall a few games.

How do I adjust the tension of my Cube?

We have prepared a video tutorial for you on how to do that.

  1. Using a cross-head screwdriver tighten all the six surface screws (pay attention to not overtighten the screws). NOTE: When inserting a screwdriver, do not use too much force to avoid scratching the glass on the module.
  2. Loosen the six face screws for 0.5-1 turns
  3. Check that the Cube rotates smoothly. If not - loosen the screws half-turn more
