How do I turn my WOWCube off?

The “Power” title on the WOWCube will put the cube in a stand-by state; in order to turn it off you need to open the WOWCube app and go to Energy Saver and hit “Cube Shutdown”. To power it back on, place the cube on the charging dock and press the “reset” button. Alternatively, after hitting "Power" icon on the cube, you can insert the plastic cover (labeled with a black cat) in one of the sides of the cube; this will keep it off.

I turned my cube off with a full battery but I noticed once I turned it back on that the battery level decreased.

To make sure your cube keeps the same battery level you need to insert the plastic cover that initially came with the cube (with a black cat) in any of the cube’s sides. Once you remove the plastic protector, the cube will turn back on.

Some of my games are asking me to update but it only shows me a “Launch” option, once I hit that it will show me a QR Code that takes me back to the app, how do I update my game?

This was a known bug in the older versions of the WOWCube Connect mobile app, but it’s now been addressed, so try updating your mobile app;

As a workaround in order to bypass that you can uninstall a game and try to install it again.

I got some module errors, what do I do?

You can reset the cube by placing it on the charging dock and hit the reset button. If this doesn’t work, you’ll have to do a Hard Reset. In order to do this, you have to insert a thin piece of metal, or a metal knife in one of the sides of the cube, this will cause a full reset (Don’t worry, this will not damage the cube) just make sure you DO NOT do this while docked on the charging station, this will burn the charger and create more issues.

I paid for a game and had to uninstall it, when I tried to reinstall, it is asking me to pay for it again?

Please activate the gift-card which you received with your Cube, to link the pre-paid games to your personal profile. You can activate your gift-card in your personal profile on our website wowcube.com (Add funds) or in the mobile app (Activate giftcard).

My Cube is not connecting to the app.

Make sure your cube is close to your phone/tablet. Turn your phone’s/tablet Bluetooth off, close the app, place the cube on the charging dock and hit the reset button, turn Bluetooth back on and open the app; the cube should connect now. If it doesn’t auto connect, hit the three dots to the right of the cube’s name and hit Connect. You may also try to change your location (to avoid a possible radio interference, from a microwave oven for instance) or delete and re-install the "WOWCube Connect" application.

Sometimes deleting the Cube from the list of paired devices in the Bluetooth settings of your phone can help to clear the error.
